Government has called on people not to share a “disturbing video” circulating on social media that claims to depict a young man being confronted for allegedly raping a child in the bathroom of a Dros restaurant in Pretoria. The graphic video depicts a naked man‚ partly covered in blood in a bathroom‚ being confronted by several people. TimesLIVE is in possession of the video‚ but has chosen not to publish it at this stage. While the suspect appeared briefly in court on Tuesday - and has allegedly been identified by social media - by law he cannot be named until he has pleaded. He is in police custody and is expected to appear in court again on October 2. Much like Mpumelelo Bhulose who was recently fired from eTV's drama, Imbewu: The Seed, it is alleged that Dlamini is a drama king who comes to work late and does whatever he wants. They state that producers used to tolerate said behaviour at first due to his talent but it has gotten worse over time and they have since grown tired of it. They went on to add that he makes outrageous demands on set and doesn't take direction well. They all seem to attribute this to "the fame having gone to his head." Said sources also claim that he shot his last scenes a few weeks ago and only has a few weeks on screen remaining. News of award-winning hip-hop artist Linda "ProKid" Mkhize's death after suffering a seizure at the age of 37 has sent shockwaves through South Africa. ProKid's family confirmed the news in a statement following an outpouring of tributes from fans and high-profile personalities on social media in the early hours of Thursday. "The legendary SA hip-hop artist affectionately known as ProKid ... passed away on Wednesday. He suffered a severe seizure attack while visiting friends and paramedics were called in to assist. They did their best to revive him to no avail and called his time of death at 8.38pm," read part of the statement. ProKid's family asked for privacy while they dealt with the tragedy. "Further details will be furnished as soon as his family has gathered." After one year Dumi Masilela's widow and actress Simz Ngema has given fans a glimpse into the pain of letting go of her wedding ring. August 3, marks one year since Dumi was shot and killed in a botched hijacking but those close to him will feel the pain of his loss for a lifetime. In the lead up to the anniversary of his death, Simz took to social media to share that it was time to take off her wedding ring. "We have a love-hate relationship, sometimes I look at you and I smile. Sometimes I look at you and my heart bleeds. It’s almost time to let you go and the thought of living without you makes me anxious but holding on to you is more painful. "I promise to keep you safe and to one day give you to the woman who will be Kgosi’s heartkeeper. I will love you, forever and always." Returning to social media on the anniversary of Dumi's death, Simz said apart of her died with Dumi.

South African Media personality Boitumelo Thulo, popularly know as Boity is said to be off the market.  The North West born star who recently hinted that she will be releasing her new Sissy Boy clothing line is rumoured to have found love in the arms of a Nigerian-born and South African-based music video director, Stanley Obiamalu S.  According to Sowetan a close friend of the couple said that they have been trying to keep their romance on the low but have been together for almost a year. The source known to the paper added that they were introduced by a mutual friend at a nightclub in Rosebank.
